This year’s Bord Bia Bloom was one for the books! From the sunshine and smiling faces to the buzzing atmosphere and chocolate-filled conversations, it was an unforgettable weekend for everyone at Áine’s Handmade Chocolate.
We were thrilled to be part of Ireland’s premier summer garden and food festival, surrounded by the best of Irish produce, craft, and creativity. The energy, support, and love for what we do were truly heart-warming.
A Visit from the Taoiseach
One of the standout moments? Welcoming Taoiseach Micheál Martin to our stand! It was an honour to share the story behind our chocolate, offer him a sample of our handmade bars, and even send him away with a bar to enjoy later. It’s not every day the Taoiseach tries your chocolate – and loves it!
Moments like these remind us how valued Irish artisan food producers are, and it was a proud moment for the whole team.

As a woman-led business, it was incredibly meaningful to stand among so many talented female entrepreneurs throughout the weekend. At Áine’s, we’re proud to champion women in Irish food and business. From the factory floor to the festival stand, our team showed incredible passion, pride, and professionalism.
Founder Ann Rudden was beaming all weekend – not only because of the success of the event, but because of the dedication shown by her hardworking team. Every customer served, every chocolate bar sold, and every smile shared was a reflection of their effort.
