A Sweet Three Days at the Ploughing
Áine’s Handmade Chocolate was delighted to take part in the 2026 National Ploughing Championships, held in Screggan, Tullamore, County Offaly, from 15 to 17 September.
Across three busy days, visitors found the Áine’s team at Stand 497, Row 23, Block 4. The event offered a wonderful opportunity to meet customers, introduce more people to handmade Irish chocolate and enjoy one of the biggest dates in Ireland’s rural and food calendar.

The National Ploughing Championships bring together people, businesses and communities from across Ireland. Áine’s Handmade Chocolate has been producing smooth and creamy handmade Irish chocolate in Stradone, County Cavan, since 1999. The business has grown through a commitment to taste, quality and careful craftsmanship while remaining proudly rooted in its local community.
That combination of local identity and national reach made the Ploughing Championships a natural place to meet chocolate lovers from around the country. The event’s celebration of Irish enterprise, food and rural life reflects many of the values that have shaped Áine’s over the years.

The 2026 Championships welcomed 243,000 visitors across the three days, according to the National Ploughing Association. From agriculture and machinery to food, craft and innovation, the event showed the range and energy of Irish enterprise.
Áine’s was proud to be among the exhibitors contributing to that experience. Every visitor who called to the stand helped make the three days a success, whether they were already familiar with the brand or discovering it for the first time.
